Supporting and Advocating for Students at Toki
In November, we reviewed with students how they will continue to be supported at Toki, and how they can share or report concerns they have. You can view the information we reviewed with students here. Please feel free to reach out to your child’s grade level point person (6th: Karen Dominguez- Counselor/Jordyn Riemer- Social Worker, 7th: Ryan Kruser- Psychologist, 8th: Toya Burns- Counselor), or us directly with any questions.
It's almost the holiday/winter season! If you need support with holiday gifts or winter gear, please reach out to Jordyn (Social Worker) at email@example.com or 608-571-5073 (call/text).
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County will be having our holiday meal distribution on Thursday, December 16 at our Allied Family Center (4619 Jenewein Rd., Fitchburg) from 4-6pm. Individuals can click here to register.
Health & Safety Mitigation Strategies at Toki
We continue to work hard to limit the spread of Covid and other illness in our school building. This takes the work and commitment of all people at Toki- much like our Restorative Justice principle of: recognizes the interconnectedness of the community
Please take a moment to view this short video to learn more about what we are doing on a daily basis.
Student-Led Conferences Recap and Gratitude
We were so glad to connect with families and highlight student learning so far this year. If you were not able to have a conference with your child and their crew teachers, please reach out so we can find a time to make this work!
Also, thank you to all the families who contributed to the Teacher Conference Lunch! The teachers and staff were so grateful. Thank you also to Hy-Vee (Whitney Way) and Pick 'N Save (McKee Road) for generously donating side dishes for the event, and to Dahmen's for giving us a deal on the main course!
